বাপের রাস্তা (Baper Rasta) ঢাকার রাস্তা নিয়ে একটা ফ্রি ব্যঙ্গ গেম। ব্যাটারির অটো চালাবেন, গাড়ি, বাইক আর দোকানে ধাক্কা দিয়ে জাতীয় ক্ষতি বাড়াবেন, বাস-ট্রাক থেকে দূরে থাকবেন, আর পাবলিক ধরার আগেই পালাবেন। ব্রাউজারেই চলে, ফোনে আর কম্পিউটারে। ডাউনলোড বা অ্যাকাউন্ট লাগে না।

খেলার নিয়ম
- ধাক্কা দেন। গাড়ি, বাইক, সিএনজি, রিকশা, দোকান: যা ভাঙবেন, তার দাম জাতীয় ক্ষতিতে যোগ হবে। পরপর ধাক্কা দিলে কম্বো বাড়ে, সাথে ক্ষতিও। একই গাড়ি আবার ভাঙলে কিছু পাবেন না।
- বাস-ট্রাক ছুঁলেই শেষ। এরা আপনাকে দেখে না, ব্রেকও করে না। নিচে লাল আলোর রিং মানে দূরে থাকেন।
- পাবলিক দৌড়াবে। ধাক্কার পর লোকজন পিছে দৌড়ায়, অটো ধরে ঝুলে পড়ে। তিনজন ধরলে, বা ধরা অবস্থায় থেমে গেলে, পাবলিক ধোলাই। টান দিয়ে বা জোরে ঘুরিয়ে ঝেড়ে ফেলেন।
- চার্জ শেষ? বিদ্যুতের খুঁটির পাশে হলুদ দাগে থামেন, লাইন সরাসরি মেইন থেকে। চার্জ দেওয়ার সময় আশেপাশে লোডশেডিং হয়।
- সানডে মানডে ক্লোজ। পাবলিক তাড়া করলে গোলাপি দাগ খোঁজেন। আস্তে ঢুকলে মামা চা-পানি নেবে, মামলা ক্লোজ, তাড়াও শেষ। চা-পানির টাকা কাটা যায় আপনার জাতীয় ক্ষতি থেকেই, প্রতিবার আগের চেয়ে বেশি।

কিছু কিবোর্ড ↑, ← আর Space একসাথে ধরতে পারে না। তখন Space-এর বদলে ডান Shift চাপেন।
ফোনে
বাঁ হাতের বুড়ো আঙুলে দুটো তীর, বামে আর ডানে, তার ওপরে হর্ন আর শব্দবোমা। ডান হাতে কোণের বড় বোতাম চালান, তার ওপরে ⚡ টান, পাশে ব্রেক। আঙুল না তুলেই এক বোতাম থেকে পাশেরটায় সরানো যায়। ফোন খাড়া বা আড়াআড়ি, দুভাবেই খেলা যায়।
টিপস
- উল্টো পথে প্রতিটা ধাক্কার দাম দেড়গুণ। তবে বাস-ট্রাক তখন আসে মুখোমুখি।
- বাস বা ট্রাকের গা ঘেঁষে জোরে বেরিয়ে গেলে নিয়ার মিস, তাতেও টাকা।
- জোরে ধাক্কা দিলে দাম বেশি, আস্তে দিলে কম।
- মাথায় লাল চিহ্ন দেওয়া ভিআইপি গাড়ি এলে ধাক্কা দেন: এক ধাক্কায় ৳১০,০০০-এর মতো। পুলিশের গাড়ি ৳৮,০০০-এর মতো।
- চার্জ ফুরানোর আগেই হলুদ দাগ খোঁজেন। খালি ব্যাটারিতে অটো অর্ধেকেরও কম গতিতে চলে, তখন পাবলিক সহজেই ধরে ফেলে।
- রাস্তার গর্তে শুধু ঝাঁকুনি লাগে। কিন্তু লাল কাপড় বাঁধা ডাল পোঁতা মানে খোলা ম্যানহোল: সামনের চাকা পড়লেই খেলা শেষ। রাস্তা খোঁড়ার সাইনবোর্ড দেখলে আস্তে যান।
- অবরোধে রাস্তা বন্ধ থাকে। মিডিয়ানের ফাঁক দিয়ে উল্টো পাশে ঘুরে যান, অথবা টান দিয়ে জোরে এসে আন্দোলনকারীদের ঠেলাগাড়ির ওপর দিয়ে উড়াল দেন।
- হকারের দোকান বেশি ভাঙলে হকাররা ক্ষেপে যায়, শেষে চাকায় শাড়ি পেঁচিয়ে দেয়।
- গোলাপী বাস আপনাকে দেখে ব্রেক করে। তবু ছুঁয়ে দিলে খেলা শেষ।
কোথায় চালাবেন
রাস্তাগুলো ঢাকার আসল মানচিত্রে বসানো। মেট্রোর রাস্তার মোড়গুলো মেট্রোরেলের স্টেশন, মতিঝিল থেকে উত্তরা পর্যন্ত, আর দুপাশে আসল এলাকা: পুরান ঢাকা, ধানমন্ডি, তেজগাঁও, গুলশান, বনানী। রান শুরু হয় শাহবাগ, গুলিস্তান, মিরপুর ১০, উত্তরা বা যাত্রাবাড়ী থেকে। পথে দেখবেন কেন্দ্রীয় শহীদ মিনার, অপরাজেয় বাংলা, কার্জন হল, জাতীয় সংসদ ভবন, বায়তুল মোকাররম, কমলাপুর রেলস্টেশন, মিরপুর স্টেডিয়াম আর হাতিরঝিল। প্রতি রানে সময়ও বদলায়: সকাল, বিকেল, সন্ধ্যা বা রাত।
দৈনিক যানজট আর মোস্ট ওয়ান্টেড
রান শেষে আপনার কীর্তি ছাপা হয় দৈনিক যানজট-এর প্রথম পাতায়: শিরোনাম, ঘটনাস্থলের ছবি, আর “এই টাকায় হতো”, মানে আপনার ক্ষতির টাকায় কী হতো, যেমন পদ্মা সেতুর কত মিলিমিটার। পাতাটার ছবি বা ছোট ভিডিও শেয়ার করতে পারবেন। শেয়ার করা লিংকে আপনার ক্ষতির অঙ্ক থাকে, বন্ধু খুললেই সেটা ভাঙার চ্যালেঞ্জ পায়।
মোস্ট ওয়ান্টেড পোস্টারে ওঠে সবচেয়ে বেশি জাতীয় ক্ষতি, এই সপ্তাহের আর সর্বকালের। প্রতি শুক্রবার রাত ১২টায় নতুন সপ্তাহ শুরু।

Baper Rasta (বাপের রাস্তা) is a free satirical arcade game set on the streets of Dhaka. You drive a battery auto-rickshaw, crash into cars, bikes and shops to raise the "National Loss", keep away from buses and trucks, and get away before the crowd catches you. It runs in the browser on phones and computers, with no download and no account. The name comes from a line every Dhaka driver has heard: "রাস্তা কি তোর বাপের?", "Is this road your father's?", or in plain English, "Do you own the road?"

How to play
- Crash into things. Cars, bikes, CNGs, rickshaws, shops: whatever you break adds its price to the National Loss. Crashes in quick succession build a combo, and the combo multiplies the loss. Hitting the same vehicle again pays nothing.
- One touch of a bus or truck ends the run. They don't see you and they don't brake. A red ring on the road under them means keep away.
- The crowd will chase you. After a crash, people run after the auto and grab on. Three of them holding on, or stopping while anyone holds on, means a public beating. Boost or steer hard to shake them off.
- Battery low? Stop on the yellow pad by an electric pole, wired straight from the mains. While you charge, the neighbourhood around you loses power.
- Sunday Monday Close. During a chase, look for the pink bay. Roll in slowly, the sergeant takes his tea money, the case is closed and the chase is over. The tea money comes out of your own National Loss, and costs more every time.

Some keyboards can't register ↑, ← and Space together. If boosting stops your turn, use the right Shift instead of Space.
On a phone, your left thumb has two arrows for steering, with the horn and the sound bomb above them. Your right thumb has the big Drive button in the corner, Boost above it and Brake beside it. You can slide from one button to the next without lifting your thumb. It plays upright or on its side.
Tips
- On the wrong side of the road every crash is worth half as much again. The buses and trucks come at you head on, though.
- Brushing past a moving bus or truck at speed is a near miss, and it pays.
- A harder crash is worth more than a gentle one.
- When a VIP car shows up with a red marker over it, hit it: about ৳10,000 in one go. A police car is worth about ৳8,000.
- Find a yellow pad before the battery runs out. On an empty battery the auto crawls at under half its speed, and the crowd catches up easily.
- Potholes only jolt you. A branch with a red rag stuck in the road marks an open manhole, though: drop the front wheel in and the run is over. Slow down at roadworks too.
- A blockade closes your side of the road. Go round through a gap in the median, or boost hard up the protesters' handcart and fly over them.
- Smash too many hawkers' stalls and the hawkers lose their temper. In the end they wind a saree round your wheel.
- The pink women's bus sees you and brakes for you. Touch it and the run still ends.
Where you drive
The streets are laid over the real map of Dhaka. The junctions on the metro road are the MRT Line 6 stations, from Motijheel up to Uttara, with real areas on either side: Old Dhaka, Dhanmondi, Tejgaon, Gulshan, Banani. A run starts at Shahbag, Gulistan, Mirpur 10, Uttara or Jatrabari. On the way you pass the Central Shaheed Minar, Aparajeyo Bangla, Curzon Hall, the National Parliament House, Baitul Mukarram, Kamalapur station, the Mirpur stadium and Hatirjheel. The time of day changes from run to run: morning, afternoon, dusk or night.
The newspaper and the Most Wanted board
When a run ends, it makes the front page of the Daily Traffic Jam (দৈনিক যানজট): a headline, a photo from the scene, and "this money could have bought", your loss priced in the country's own famous spending, such as millimetres of the Padma bridge. Share the page as a picture or a short video. A shared link carries your loss, so a friend who opens it gets a dare to beat it.
The Most Wanted poster (মোস্ট ওয়ান্টেড) lists the biggest National Loss of the week and of all time. A new week starts every Friday at midnight, Dhaka time.

Yes, all of it. No download and no account: open BaperRasta.com in a browser and play.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in the browser on Android phones and iPhones, and on computers. On a cheaper phone the game lowers its own graphics so it keeps running smoothly.
Can I install it?
Yes. Tap the download button beside the play button on the menu (on an iPhone it shows you the steps). Opened from its home-screen icon, it plays full screen, even offline.
Which site is the official one?
BaperRasta.com is the only official home of Baper Rasta. If the game runs on any other site under this name, I don't run it. Your name only goes on the Most Wanted poster when you play here.
